     He gained the rank of Ensign in the Royal Scots Dragoons.²

     Colonel Thomas Agnew, 10th of Lochryan was born circa 1704.² He was the son of Lt.-Col. Andrew Agnew, 9th of Croach and Margaret Agnew.¹ He died on 15 February 1736, falling from his horse, unmarried.^1,2
     He gained the rank of Colonel in the Guards.¹

     Agnes Kennedy was born in 1684 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland^G.² She was the daughter of Thomas Kennedy of Kirkhill and Agnes Haldane.^3,4 She married Lt.-Col. Andrew Agnew, 9th of Croach, son of Alexander Agnew, 8th of Croach and Sarah Dunbar, on 28 February 1705 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland^G.^3,2 She died in 1760 at Bath, Somerset, England^G.²
     From 28 February 1705, her married name became Agnew.³

     Thomas Kennedy of Kirkhill was the son of Colonel Sir Thomas Kennedy of Kirkhill and Margaret Neilson.^1,2 He married Agnes Haldane, daughter of George Haldane and Isobel Dundas, on 1 November 1670 at Edibnburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.² He died in 1715.²
     He held the office of Lord Provost of Edinburgh from 1685 to 1686.³

     Eleanora Agnew was born in 1706 at Lochryan House, Inch, Wigtownshire, Scotland^G.² She was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Andrew Agnew, 9th of Croach and Agnes Kennedy.³ She married Sir Thomas Wallace of Craigie.³ She died on 19 August 1761 at Scotland^G.² She was buried on 21 August 1761 at Glasgow Cathedral, Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Scotland^G.²
     She was also known as Eleanor.² Her married name became Wallace.³
     She was the heiress of Croach.³

     Sir Thomas Wallace of Craigie was born on 16 February 1702 at Newton Castle, Newton-on-Ayr, Ayrshire, Scotland^G.² He married Eleanora Agnew, daughter of Lt.-Col. Andrew Agnew, 9th of Croach and Agnes Kennedy.¹ He died on 18 August 1770 at age 68.² He was buried on 21 August 1770.²

     Frances Anna Wallace was born on 16 April 1730 at Craigie House, Newton-on-Ayr, Ayrshire, Scotland^G.¹ She was the daughter of Sir Thomas Wallace of Craigie and Eleanora Agnew.² She married John Dunlop, 19th of that Ilk, son of Lt.-Col. Sir Francis Dunlop, 18th of that Ilk and Susanna Leckie, in 1748 at Ayrshire, Scotland^G.¹ She died on 24 May 1815 at age 85 at Dunlop House, Dunlop, Ayrshire, Scotland^G.¹
     From 1748, her married name became Dunlop.²
     She was the heiress of Croach.²

     John Dunlop, 19th of that Ilk was the son of Lt.-Col. Sir Francis Dunlop, 18th of that Ilk and Susanna Leckie.² He married Frances Anna Wallace, daughter of Sir Thomas Wallace of Craigie and Eleanora Agnew, in 1748 at Ayrshire, Scotland^G.²

     Elizabeth Agnew was born on 6 May 1789.¹ She was the daughter of James Agnew and Mary Ramsay.¹ She married Reverend John Pretzel.¹
     Her married name became Pretzel.¹

     Florence Stewart married Captain Thomas Agnew, son of Alexander Agnew, 8th of Croach and Sarah Dunbar.¹
     Her married name became Agnew.¹
