     Barbara Muriel Mathews, Baroness Brooke of Ystrafellte was born on 14 January 1908.¹ She was the daughter of Reverend Alfred Augustus Mathews and Ethel Frances Evans.¹ She married Henry Brooke, Baron Brooke of Cumnor, son of Leonard Leslie Brooke and Sybil Diana Brooke, on 22 April 1933.¹ She died on 1 September 2000 at age 92.²
     She was educated at Queen Anne’s School, Caversham, Oxfordshire, England^G.¹ She was educated at Gloucester Training College for Domestic Science, Gloucester, Gloucestershire, England^G.¹ From 22 April 1933, her married name became Brooke.² She was member of the Hampstead Council between 1948 and 1965.¹ She was joint vice-chairman of the Conservative Party between 1954 and 1964.¹ In 1960 her name was legally changed to Dame Barbara Brooke.³ She was appointed Dame Commander, Order of the British Empire (D.B.E.) in 1960.¹ She was created Baroness Brooke of Ystradfellte, of Ystradfellte in the County of Breconshire [U.K. Life Peer] on 7 December 1964.¹ She was Honorary Fellow in 1968 at Queen Mary and Westfield Colleges, London University, London, England^G.¹

     Hon. Sir Henry Brooke was born on 19 July 1936.² He was the son of Henry Brooke, Baron Brooke of Cumnor and Barbara Muriel Mathews, Baroness Brooke of Ystrafellte.¹ He married Bridget Mary Kalaugher, daughter of Wilfrid George Kalaugher, on 16 April 1966.³ He died on 30 January 2018 at age 81.⁴
     He was educated at Marlborough College, Marlborough, Wiltshire, England^G.³ He was educated in 1961 at Balliol College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)³ He was admitted to Inner Temple in 1963 entitled to practise as a barrister.³ He graduated from Balliol College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, in 1964 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)³ He was appointed Queen’s Counsel (Q.C.) in 1981.³ He was appointed Knight in 1988.³ He held the office of High Court Judge, Queen’s Bench Division between 1988 and 1996.³ He held the office of Lord Justice of Appeal in 1996.³ He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.) in 2012.⁴

     Hon. Honor Leslie Brooke was born on 2 April 1941.¹ She is the daughter of Henry Brooke, Baron Brooke of Cumnor and Barbara Muriel Mathews, Baroness Brooke of Ystrafellte.¹ She married Dr. Thomas Nigel Miller, son of Nathaniel Allan Miller, on 6 August 1966.¹
     She was educated at St. Mary’s School, Calne, Wiltshire, England^G.¹ She was educated at University of Grenoble, Grenoble, France^G.¹ She was educated at St. Thomas’ Hospital, London, England^G.¹ From 6 August 1966, her married name became Miller.¹ She was registered as a State Registered Nurse (S.R.N.)¹

     Dr. Thomas Nigel Miller is the son of Nathaniel Allan Miller.¹ He married Hon. Honor Leslie Brooke, daughter of Henry Brooke, Baron Brooke of Cumnor and Barbara Muriel Mathews, Baroness Brooke of Ystrafellte, on 6 August 1966.¹
     He was registered as a Member, Royal College of Physicians, London (M.R.C.P.)¹ He graduated with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹

     Nathaniel Allan Miller was appointed Fellow, Royal College of Physicians, London (F.R.C.P.)¹

     Matthew Thomas Vivian Miller was born on 14 October 1968.¹ He is the son of Dr. Thomas Nigel Miller and Hon. Honor Leslie Brooke.¹

     David Edward Benyon Miller was born on 20 April 1978.¹ He is the son of Dr. Thomas Nigel Miller and Hon. Honor Leslie Brooke.¹ He married Lara Slazenger, daughter of Peter Slazenger.²

     Alexander Henry Julian Miller was born on 20 April 1978.¹ He is the son of Dr. Thomas Nigel Miller and Hon. Honor Leslie Brooke.¹ He married Yukiko Hirooka, daughter of Nobuaki Hirooka.²

     Auriol Jane Verona Miller was born on 7 January 1971.¹ She is the daughter of Dr. Thomas Nigel Miller and Hon. Honor Leslie Brooke.¹

     Elena Frances Loveday Miller was born in 1975.¹ She is the daughter of Dr. Thomas Nigel Miller and Hon. Honor Leslie Brooke.¹ She married Oliver E. R. Major, son of Clive Major.²
