     Alexander Brodie, 19th of Brodie was born on 17 August 1697.¹ He was the son of George Brodie, 17th of Brodie and Emilia Brodie.¹ He married Mary Sleigh on 3 September 1724.¹ He died on 9 March 1754 at age 56.¹
     He held the position of 19th Chief of the Clan Brodie from in 1720.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.)² He held the office of Lord Lyon King of Arms between 1727 and 1754.¹

     Mary Sleigh was born on 3 October 1704.¹ She married Alexander Brodie, 19th of Brodie, son of George Brodie, 17th of Brodie and Emilia Brodie, on 3 September 1724.¹
     From 3 September 1724, her married name became Brodie.¹

     Alexander Brodie, 20th of Brodie was born on 29 May 1741.¹ He was the son of Alexander Brodie, 19th of Brodie and Mary Sleigh.¹ He died in 1759, unmarried.¹
     He held the position of 20th Chief of the Clan Brodie from on 9 March 1754.¹

     Amelia Brodie was born on 30 April 1730.¹ She was the daughter of Alexander Brodie, 19th of Brodie and Mary Sleigh.¹ She married John MacLeod of MacLeod, younger, son of Norman MacLeod, 22nd of MacLeod and Janet Macdonald, in 1751.¹
     From 1751, her married name became Macleod.¹

     John MacLeod of MacLeod, younger was born on 30 April 1730.² He was the son of Norman MacLeod, 22nd of MacLeod and Janet Macdonald.^1,2 He married Amelia Brodie, daughter of Alexander Brodie, 19th of Brodie and Mary Sleigh, in 1751.¹ He died on 7 January 1767 at age 36.¹

     James Brodie is the son of Joseph Brodie and Isabella Dundas.² He married Margaret Brodie, daughter of James Brodie, 16th of Brodie and Lady Mary Kerr, in 1698.
     He lived at Whitehill, Midlothian, Scotland^G.¹

     James Brodie, 21st of Brodie was born on 31 August 1744.¹ He was the son of James Brodie and Emilia Brodie.^1,2 He married Lady Margaret Duff, daughter of William Duff, 1st Earl Fife and Jean Grant, on 6 March 1768.¹ He died on 17 January 1824 at age 79.¹
     He held the position of 21st Chief of the Clan Brodie from in 1759.¹ He held the office of Lord-Lieutenant of Nairnshire.¹

     Lady Margaret Duff was born in 1745.² She was the daughter of William Duff, 1st Earl Fife and Jean Grant.^1,3 She married James Brodie, 21st of Brodie, son of James Brodie and Emilia Brodie, on 6 March 1768.¹ She died on 24 April 1786 at Brodie House, Forres, Morayshire, Scotland^G, accidentally burned to death in a fire.¹
     From 6 March 1768, her married name became Brodie.¹
