     Richard John Martin Broadbridge, 5th Baron Broadbridge was born on 20 January 1959.1 He is the son of Martin Hugh Broadbridge, 4th Baron Broadbridge and Norma Sheffield.1 He married Jacqueline Roberts in 1980.1
     He also has a daughter.1 He was honorary surgeon to HM Queen Elizabeth II.2 He gained the rank of Air Vice-Marshal in the Royal Air Force.2 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 2018.2 He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Broadbridge, of Brighton, co. Sussex [U.K., 1937] on 19 April 2020.3 He succeeded as the 5th Baron Broadbridge, of Brighton, co. Sussex [U.K., 1945] on 19 April 2020.3
