     Martin Hugh Broadbridge, 4th Baron Broadbridge was born on 29 November 1929.1 He was the son of Hon. Hugh Trevor Broadbridge and Anne Marjorie Elfick.2 He married, firstly, Norma Sheffield, daughter of Major Herbert Sheffield, on 31 July 1954.1 He and Norma Sheffield were divorced in 1967.1 He married, secondly, Mary Elizabeth Trotman, daughter of Joseph Emlyn Trotman, in 1968.1 He died on 19 April 2020 at age 90 at Cardiff, Glamorgan, Wales.3
     He was educated at St. George’s College, Weybridge, Surrey, EnglandG.1 He graduated from Birmingham University, Birmingham, Warwickshire, EnglandG, in 1954 with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.)1 He succeeded as the 4th Baron Broadbridge, of Brighton, co. Sussex [U.K., 1945] on 6 February 2000.1 He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Broadbridge, of Brighton, co. Sussex [U.K., 1937] on 6 February 2000.1 He lived in 2003 at 23A Westfield Road, Barton-on-Humber, Lincolnshire, EnglandG.1

     He was educated at Shoreham Grammar School, Shoreham, Kent, EnglandG.1

     From 1968, her married name became Broadbridge.1 After her marriage, Mary Elizabeth Trotman was styled as Baroness Broadbridge on 6 February 2000.
