[E., 1641] in 1699.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Shropshire from 1700 to 1701.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Bridgnorth between 1702 and 1710.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Wenlock between 1716 and 1727.1

On his death, his baronetcy became extinct.1
