Lt.-Col. Edward John Mostyn Bowlby was born on 26 February 1907 at Marylebone, London, England.1,2 He was the son of Sir Anthony Alfred Bowlby, 1st Bt. and Maria Bridget Lloyd-Mostyn.1 He married Ursula Longstaff, daughter of Dr. Tom George Longstaff, on 16 April 1938. He died on 2 September 1990 at age 83 at Isle of Skye, Scotland.1,2
