     Jean Gordon Farquharson is the daughter of Norman Gordon Farquharson.¹ She married, firstly, Rupert John Orlando Lascelles, son of Lt.-Col. John Norman Pulteney Lascelles and Elizabeth Katherine Joan Manners, on 25 November 1963.¹ She and Rupert John Orlando Lascelles were divorced in 1988.¹ She married, secondly, Sir Thomas Allen on 12 March 1988.¹
     Her married name became Lascelles. From 12 March 1988, her married name became Allen.¹

     Robert Norman Lascelles was born on 7 April 1965.¹ He is the son of Rupert John Orlando Lascelles and Jean Gordon Farquharson.¹

     Norman Gordon Farquharson lived at Southbroom, Natal, South Africa^G.¹ He lived at Bryanston, Johannesburg, Transvaal, South Africa^G.¹

     Edward William Seymour was born on 27 March 1897.² He was the son of Henry Sydney Seymour and Hon. Helen Smith.² He married Barbara Judith Lascelles, daughter of George Reginald Lascelles and Beatrice Pulteney, on 18 November 1925.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.² He fought in the First World War.² He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Grenadier Guards (SR.)² He was educated at New College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.² He was director of W H Smith between 1922 and 1944.² He was awarded the Territorial Decoration (T.D.)² He fought in the Second World War.² He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Royal Artillery.² He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Dorset in 1945.² He held the office of High Sheriff of Dorset in 1957.² He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Dorset in 1959.²

     Henry Sydney Seymour was born on 15 September 1855.² He was the son of Reverend Henry Seymour and Susanah Biscoe Tritton.² He married Hon. Helen Smith, daughter of Rt. Hon. William Henry Smith and Emily Danvers, Viscountess Hambleden, on 16 April 1896.¹ He died on 26 March 1930 at age 74.²

     John Bulteel was born on 26 June 1827 at Yelverton, Devon, England^G.^2,3 He was the son of John Crocker Bulteel and Lady Elizabeth Grey.⁴ He married Euphemia Emily Parsons, daughter of Lt.-Col. John Whitehill Parsons and Mary Elizabeth Dewar, on 23 March 1854.² He died on 1 July 1897 at age 70.²
     He lived in 1871 at Pamflete Mansion, Holbeton, Devon, England^G.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)⁵

     2nd Lt. Guy Ernest Lascelles was born on 27 November 1898.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Col. Ernest Lascelles and Flora Evelyn Bulteel.¹ He died on 24 March 1918 at age 19, killed in action.¹
     He fought in the First World War.¹ He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in the Rifle Brigade.¹

     Frederick Lascelles was born on 10 November 1900.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Col. Ernest Lascelles and Flora Evelyn Bulteel.¹ He died on 15 November 1900.¹

     Faith Evelyn Lascelles was born on 27 January 1903.¹ She was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Ernest Lascelles and Flora Evelyn Bulteel.¹ She died in 1997.¹

     Edith Maud Galloway was the daughter of Charles John Galloway.¹ She married David Arthur George Lascelles, son of Hon. George Edwin Lascelles and Lady Louisa Nina Murray, on 8 October 1885.¹ She died on 7 March 1938.¹
     Her married name became Lascelles.
