Thomas Pitt, 1st Earl of Londonderry1 
He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Wilton between 1713 and 1727.3 He gained the title of 1st Baron Londonderry in 1719.1 He was created 1st Earl of Londonderry in 1726.1 He held the office of Governor of the Leeward Islands in May 1728.2
