     Rt. Hon. Lt.-Gen. Sir Frederick Adam was born on 17 June 1784.² He was the son of Rt. Hon. William Adam of Blair and Hon. Eleanor Elphinstone.² He married, firstly, Amelia Thompson, daughter of Stephen Thompson, on 20 July 1811.² He married, secondly, Diamantina Palatiano on 23 June 1820.² He married, thirdly, Ann Lindsay Maberly, daughter of John Maberly and Ann Baillie, on 24 July 1851 at Kensington, London, England^G.³ He died on 17 August 1853 at age 69.²
     He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.) on 2 July 1815.² He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Order of St. Michael and St. George (G.C.M.G.) on 21 December 1821.¹ He held the office of Lord High Commissioner of the Ionian Islands in 1824.² He held the office of Governor of Madras in 1832.² He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) in 1835.¹ He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Order of the Bath (G.C.B.) on 20 June 1840.¹

     Margaret Seymour was the daughter of William Seymour.¹ She married, firstly, Claudius Augustus Kerr on 6 November 1828 at St. George’s Church, Madras, India.^1,2 She married, secondly, Major Charles Lestock Boileau, son of John Peter Boileau and Henrietta Pollen, on 16 August 1836.¹ She married, thirdly, Michael Blood, son of Neptune Blood and Marianne Davies, on 22 February 1848.³
     From 6 November 1828, her married name became Kerr.¹ From 16 August 1836, her married name became Boileau.¹ From 22 February 1848, her married name became Blood.³

     William Seymour was also known as William Stirling.²

     Claudius Augustus Kerr was born on 29 November 1804 at Madras, India.² He married Margaret Seymour, daughter of William Seymour, on 6 November 1828 at St. George’s Church, Madras, India.^1,2 He died on 1 January 1836 at age 31.^1,2
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 3rd Regiment of Light Cavalry.² He was employed by the Indian Civil Service.³ He was in the Honourable East India Company Service.¹

     Maria Wenham was the daughter of Edward Wenham.¹ She married Major Charles Lestock Boileau, son of John Peter Boileau and Henrietta Pollen, on 27 November 1848.¹ She died on 26 November 1899.¹
     From 27 November 1848, her married name became Boileau.¹

     Edward Wenham lived at Hastings, Sussex, England^G.¹

     Henrietta Maria Boileau was the daughter of John Peter Boileau and Henrietta Pollen.¹ She married John Scott on 28 June 1828.¹ She died on 3 May 1837.¹
     From 28 June 1828, her married name became Scott.¹

     He graduated with a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.)¹

     John Elliot Boileau was born on 28 September 1827.¹ He was the son of Sir John Peter Boileau, 1st Bt. and Lady Catherine Sarah Elliot.¹ He died on 8 October 1861 at age 34, unmarried.¹

     Sir Francis George Manningham Boileau, 2nd Bt. was born on 26 March 1830.¹ He was the son of Sir John Peter Boileau, 1st Bt. and Lady Catherine Sarah Elliot.¹ He married Lucy Henrietta Nugent, daughter of Sir George Edmund Nugent, 2nd Bt. and Hon. Maria Charlotte Ridley-Colborne, on 2 August 1860.¹ He died on 2 December 1900 at age 70.¹
     He graduated from Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He was a practising barrister.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the 3rd Norfolk Rifle Volunteers.¹ He was awarded the Volunteer Officers’ Decoration (V.D.)¹ He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Boileau, of Tacolneston Hall, co. Norfolk [U.K., 1838] on 8 March 1869.¹ He was appointed Fellow, Royal Society of Literature (F.R.S.L.)¹ He was appointed Knight, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (K.St.J.)¹ He was appointed Fellow, Society of Antiquaries (F.S.A.)¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Norfolk.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Norfolk.¹
