     Joel Kellogg was born in 1724 at Hadley, Hampshire County, Massachusetts, U.S.A.^G.¹ He was the son of Nathaniel Kellogg and Sarah Preston.¹ He married Joanna Clark, daughter of Samuel Clark Clark and Sarah Rust, on 7 August 1748.¹ He died on 22 October 1798 at Whatley, Franklin County, Massachusetts, U.S.A.^G.¹

     Joanna Clark was born on 24 May 1727 at Northampton, Massachusetts, U.S.A.^G.¹ She was the daughter of Samuel Clark Clark and Sarah Rust.¹ She married Joel Kellogg, son of Nathaniel Kellogg and Sarah Preston, on 7 August 1748.¹ She died on 11 June 1795 at age 68 at Whatley, Franklin County, Massachusetts, U.S.A.^G.¹
     From 7 August 1748, her married name became Kellogg.¹

     Reverend Seth Kellogg was born in 1753 at Hadley, Hampshire County, Massachusetts, U.S.A.^G.² He was the son of Joel Kellogg and Joanna Clark.² He married Jerusha White, daughter of Oliver White and Abigail Seldon, in August 1781.¹ He died on 30 November 1827 at Bloomfield, Ontario County, New York, U.S.A.^G.²
     He was a Methodist minister at Canandaigua, Ontario County, New York, U.S.A.^G.¹

     Jerusha White was born on 5 March 1762 at Whatley, Franklin County, Massachusetts, U.S.A.^G.² She was the daughter of Oliver White and Abigail Seldon.¹ She married Reverend Seth Kellogg, son of Joel Kellogg and Joanna Clark, in August 1781.¹
     From August 1781, her married name became Kellogg.²

     Elijah Walley Kellogg was born in 1792 at Ballston Springs, Oneida County, New York, U.S.A.^G.² He was the son of Reverend Seth Kellogg and Jerusha White.¹ He married Margaret Murphy, daughter of Jeremiah Murphy and Sarah White, in 1817.² He died on 25 November 1835 at Palestine, Crawford County, Illinois, U.S.A.^G.²
     He was handicapped, with his arms being very short.³ He was the sheriff, for nine years at Crawford County, Illinois, U.S.A.^G.³

     Margaret Murphy was the daughter of Jeremiah Murphy and Sarah White.² She married Elijah Walley Kellogg, son of Reverend Seth Kellogg and Jerusha White, in 1817.² She died at Palestine, Crawford County, Illinois, U.S.A.^G.²
     From 1817, her married name became Kellogg.²

     Isaac Kellogg was born in 1818 at Ohio, U.S.A.^G.¹ He was the son of Elijah Walley Kellogg and Margaret Murphy.¹ He married, firstly, Malinda Fesler on 15 April 1838.¹ He married, secondly, Elizabeth Jane Wood, daughter of William W. Wood and Mary A. Waldrop, after 1847.² He died in 1852 at Palestine, Crawford County, Illinois, U.S.A.^G.¹
     He was a grocer.²

     Malinda Fesler married Isaac Kellogg, son of Elijah Walley Kellogg and Margaret Murphy, on 15 April 1838.² She died in 1847.¹
     From 15 April 1838, her married name became Kellogg.²

     Elijah Wolsey Kellogg was born on 2 October 1840 at Robinson, Crawford County, Illinois, U.S.A.^G.¹ He was the son of Isaac Kellogg and Malinda Fesler.² He married, firstly, Minerva Higgins before 1866 at Marshall, Illinois, U.S.A.^G.¹ He married, secondly, Sarah Markee Mills, daughter of James Mills and Rhoda Johnson, on 6 January 1866 at Robinson, Crawford County, Illinois, U.S.A.^G.² He died on 25 July 1897 at age 56 at Glasco, Cloud County, Kansas, U.S.A.^G.²
     He gained the rank of Private in 1861 in the Company H, Eleventh Missouri Regiment.³ He fought in the American Civil War between 1861 and 1866, on the Northern side.¹

     Sarah Markee Mills was born on 28 December 1841 at Tuscarauas County, Ohio, U.S.A.^G.¹ She was the daughter of James Mills and Rhoda Johnson.¹ She married Elijah Wolsey Kellogg, son of Isaac Kellogg and Malinda Fesler, on 6 January 1866 at Robinson, Crawford County, Illinois, U.S.A.^G.¹ She died on 26 January 1911 at age 69 at Glasco, Cloud County, Kansas, U.S.A.^G.¹
     From 6 January 1866, her married name became Kellogg.¹
