     William Glynn Heath Christian was born on 1 January 1942 at Auckland, New ZealandG.1 He is the son of Claude Royce Christian and Enid Olwyn Pitman.1
     William Glynn Heath Christian usually went by his middle name of Glynn.2 He was appointed Fellow, Royal Geographical Society (F.R.G.S.) which endorsed his Bounty research trip on the Teiyo as the ‘Sir John Barrow Commemorative Expedition’. This voyage resulted in a television presentation, and was documented in his 1982 book, Fragile Paradise.1 He wrote the book Fragile Paradise: the discovery of Fletcher Christian, Bounty mutineer, published 1982.3
     He has extensively documented the Christian family genealogy and history. He was raised in New Zealand where he became a full-time radio and TV scriptwriter, but emigrated to England in 1965 to advance his career. He lives in London (1989) where he owns and manages a restaurant, and a school for chefs and wine stewards.3
