     Captain Francis Bramall Metcalfe was born on 29 August 1891 at Norfolk Island^G.² He was the son of Peter Herbert Metcalfe and Janet Anne Lucy Nobbs.² He died on 6 October 1917 at age 26, killed in action.¹
     He was educated at The King’s School, Parramatta, New South Wales, Australia^G.³ He graduated from Sydney University, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia^G, with a Bachelor of Medicine (M.B.)³ He graduated from Sydney University, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia^G, with a MAster of Surgery (Ch.M.)³ He was a physician.² He gained the rank of Captain in the 10th Field Ambulance, Australian Army Medical Corps, attached to the 38th Battalion, Australian Imperial Forces.¹ He fought in the First World War.¹

     Kathleen Janet Metcalfe was born on 20 December 1904 at Norfolk Island^G.¹ She was the daughter of Peter Herbert Metcalfe and Janet Anne Lucy Nobbs.¹ She married Charles John Welsh, son of Dr. Robert Anthony Welsh and Eliza Hedley, on 18 September 1937 at St. Stephens Church, Bellevue Hill, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia^G.^1,2 She died on 6 August 1993 at age 88 at Norfolk Island^G.¹
     Founder and President of the Sunshine Service Club on Norfolk since its inception in 1961. She was also an avid bridge player.¹ From 18 September 1937, her married name became Welsh.¹ She was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.) in 1965.¹

     Charles John Welsh was born on 12 April 1901 at Northumberland, England^G.² He was the son of Dr. Robert Anthony Welsh and Eliza Hedley.² He married Kathleen Janet Metcalfe, daughter of Peter Herbert Metcalfe and Janet Anne Lucy Nobbs, on 18 September 1937 at St. Stephens Church, Bellevue Hill, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia^G.^1,2 He died on 1 July 1977 at age 76 at Norfolk Island^G.²

     Peter John Welsh was born on 27 September 1938.¹ He was the son of Charles John Welsh and Kathleen Janet Metcalfe.¹ He married Helen Mary Gilbert. He died on 9 May 2010 at age 71 at Norfolk Island^G.²

     Helen Mary Gilbert was born on 18 February 1941.¹ She married Peter John Welsh, son of Charles John Welsh and Kathleen Janet Metcalfe.
     Her married name became Welsh.

     David John Welsh was born on 24 October 1964.² He is the son of Peter John Welsh and Helen Mary Gilbert.¹

     Susan Jan Welsh was born on 13 January 1968.¹ She is the daughter of Peter John Welsh and Helen Mary Gilbert.¹

     Ian David Welsh was born on 1 July 1941.¹ He is the son of Charles John Welsh and Kathleen Janet Metcalfe.¹ He married Margaret Florence Hackett on 1 August 1964 at Adelaide, South Australia, Australia^G.²
     He gained the rank of between 1958 and 1964 in the Royal Australian Air Force.² He was with Qantas between 1964 and 2003.²
