     Geoffrey Kerr LeCREN was born on 10 March 1903 at Timaru, New ZealandG.1,2 He was the son of Ernest Alfred LeCresne and Maud Margaret Kerr. He married Lilian Beatrice Snell, daughter of John Snell and Blanche Quintal, on 6 June 1931 at Norfolk IslandG.1 He died on 28 June 1963 at age 60 at Norfolk Island.2
     He was born and married as GEOFFREY LeCRESNE, but seems to have simplified his name when he enlisted as an LAC (165384) in the Royal Australian Air Force in World War II.1 He was given the name of Geoffrey LeCresne at birth. He fought in the Second World War.2 He gained the rank of Corporal in the 76 Squadron, Royal Australian Air Force.2 He was a planter and motor mechanic.1
