     Edmund Joseph Quintal was born on 5 January 1874 at Norfolk Island^G.¹ He was the son of Edward Quintal and Angeline Ophelia McCoy.¹ He married Margaret Melissa Snell, daughter of Pardon Snell and Mary McCoy, on 13 May 1897 at Norfolk Island^G.¹ He died in 1909.¹

     Margaret Melissa Snell was born on 5 May 1878 at Norfolk Island^G.¹ She was the daughter of Pardon Snell and Mary McCoy.¹ She married Edmund Joseph Quintal, son of Edward Quintal and Angeline Ophelia McCoy, on 13 May 1897 at Norfolk Island^G.¹ She died on 2 July 1909 at age 31 at Norfolk Island^G.¹
     From 13 May 1897, her married name became Quintal.¹

     Theodosia Irene Quintal was born on 26 April 1898 at Norfolk Island^G.¹ She is the daughter of Edmund Joseph Quintal and Margaret Melissa Snell.¹

     Georg Adolf Karl von Opel usually went by his middle name of Karl.¹ In 1918 his name was legally changed to Karl von Opel.²
