     Roger de Hauteville, Duca di Puglia was born circa 1060.2 He was the son of Robert de Hauteville, Duca di Puglia e Calabria and Sichelgaita di Salerno.1,2 He married Adelheid van Vlaanderen, daughter of Robrecht I ‘de Fries’ Graaf van Vlaanderen Comte d’Artois and Gertrud Billung von Sachsen, in 1090. He died on 22 February 1111.1
     Roger de Hauteville, Duca di Puglia also went by the nick-name of Roger ‘Borsa’.2 He succeeded as the Duca di Puglia in 1085.1
