Grizel Ker1 

Grizel Ker was the daughter of Sir Thomas Kerr of Cavers and Grizel Halkett.1 She married Patrick Hume, 1st Earl of Marchmont, son of Sir Patrick Hume, 1st Bt. and Christian Hamilton, on 29 January 1660.3 She died on 11 October 1703 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, ScotlandG.1
From 29 January 1660, her married name became Hume.1 They also had other issue.3 After her marriage, Grizel Ker was styled as Countess of Marchmont on 23 April 1697.

Sir Patrick Hume, 1st Bt.1 
He was created 1st Baronet Hume, of Polwarth [Scotland] on 28 December 1625.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Berwickshire in 1630.3
