Sir Henry Holland, 1st Bt. was born on 27 October 1788 at Knutsford, Cheshire, EnglandG.3 He was the son of Peter Holland and Mary Willetts.3 He married, firstly, Margaret Emma Caldwell, daughter of James Caldwell, on 8 October 1822.4 He married, secondly, Saba Smith, daughter of Reverend Sydney Smith, on 20 March 1834.4 He died on 27 October 1873 at age 85 at Knutsford, Cheshire, EnglandG.3
He graduated with a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.)5 He was a physician and travel writer.3 He was Physician in Ordinary to HM Queen Victoria.4 He was created 1st Baronet Holland [U.K.] on 10 May 1853.4
