Barnett Dyer Lampier Gray Anley was born on 22 August 1873 at Dalthousie, Punjab, India.1 He was the son of Colonel Barnett Nethercote Anley and Mabel Charlotte Anna Putland Thomas.2 He married Gwendoline Gwatkin, daughter of George Leigh Gwatkin and Matilda Emily Ashton, in 1902 at Eastry, Kent, England.1 He died in 1954.1
     He fought in the Boer War.1 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)1 He fought in the First World War.1 He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.)1

     Henry Vernon was born circa 1687.1 He was the son of George Vernon and Catherine Vernon.2,3 He married, firstly, Anne Pigot, daughter of Thomas Pigot and Mary Venables.2 He married, secondly, Matilda Wright, daughter of Thomas Wright.2 He died on 25 February 1718/19.1
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for County Stafford.2 He lived at Sudbury, Derbyshire, England.2

     Her married name became Vernon.1

     From 12 December 1831, her married name became van Aylva.1
