     Robina Morthland was born on 9 April 1749 at Rindmuir, Renfrewshire, ScotlandG.1 She was the daughter of Matthew Morthland.1 She married Reverend Edward Hare, son of Reverend Humphrey Christian and Elizabeth Brett, on 18 February 1790 at London, EnglandG.2 She died on 30 September 1832 at age 83.1
     From 18 February 1790, her married name became Christian.2 From 5 December 1798, her married name became Hare.2

     Reverend Edward Hare was born on 16 January 1751/52 at Docking Hall, Brancaster, Norfolk, EnglandG.2 He was the son of Reverend Humphrey Christian and Elizabeth Brett.2 He married, firstly, Frances Christian, daughter of John Christian and Jane Curwen, on 4 March 1773.2 He married, secondly, Robina Morthland, daughter of Matthew Morthland, on 18 February 1790 at London, EnglandG.1 He died on 1 July 1807 at age 55 at Docking Hall, Norfolk, EnglandG.2
     He was given the name of Edward Christian at birth.1 He was the Rector in 1784 at Osuby, Cumberland, EnglandG.1 He was the Rector between 1792 and 1803 at Workington, Cumberland, EnglandG.2 On 5 December 1798 his name was legally changed to Edward Hare by Royal Licence.1 He was the Vicar at Brancaster, Norfolk, EnglandG.2
