     George Lyon, 7th of Wester Ogil was born on 18 November 1787.1 He was the son of Hugh Lyon, 6th of Wester Ogil and Janet Jobson.1 He married Catherine Menzies Fleming, daughter of Rev. Dr. Thomas Fleming, on 28 March 1810.1 He died on 14 November 1866 at age 78.1

Reverend Charles Jobson Lyon1

     Reverend Charles Jobson Lyon was born on 9 February 1789.1 He was the son of Hugh Lyon, 6th of Wester Ogil and Janet Jobson.1 He married, firstly, unknown daughter English.1 He married, secondly, Margaret Playfair, daughter of Patrick Playfair of Delmarnock, in 1831.1 He died on 26 May 1859 at age 70.1
     He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He was Episcopal Minister at St. Andrews, Fife, Scotland.1
