     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He graduated from University of Edinburgh, Edinburgh, Midlothian, ScotlandG, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He held the office of Sheriff of the City of London between 2012 and 2013.3 He succeeded as the 9th Baron Congleton, of Congleton, co. Chester [U.K., 1841] on 11 December 2015. He succeeded as the 12th Baronet Parnell, of Rathleague, Queen’s Co. [I., 1766] on 11 December 2015.
