     Lady Isabel Anne Asquith was born in 1991 at Bath, Somerset, England^G.^1,2 She is the daughter of Raymond Benedict Bartholomew Asquith, 3rd Earl of Oxford and Asquith and Mary Clare Pollen.¹

     Field Marshal Edwin Noel Westby Bramall, Baron Bramall was born on 18 December 1923.¹ He was the son of Major Edmund Haseldon Bramall and Katherine Bridget Westby.¹ He married Dorothy Avril Wentworth Vernon, daughter of Brig.-Gen. Henry Albemarle Vernon, in 1949 at Winchester, Hampshire, England.^1,3 He died on 12 November 2019 at age 95.⁴
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He was commissioned in 1943, in the service of the King’s Royal Rifle Corps.¹ He fought in the Second World War between 1944 and 1945, in North-West Europe.¹ He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.) in 1945.¹ He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1965.¹ He was Commanding Officer of the 2nd Green Jackets, King’s Royal Rifle Corps between 1965 and 1966 at Malaysia^G.¹ He was Commanding Officer of the 5th Airportable Brigade between 1967 and 1969.¹ He was Commanding Officer of the 1st Division, British Army of the Rhine between 1971 and 1973.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-General in 1973.¹ He was Commander of the British Forces between 1973 and 1976 at Hong Kong^G.¹ He was Colonel Commandant of the 3rd Battalion, Royal Green Jackets between 1973 and 1984.¹ He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.) in 1974.¹ He gained the rank of General in 1976.¹ He was Colonel of the 2nd Goorkhas after 1976.¹ He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Order of the Bath (G.C.B.) in 1979.¹ He gained the rank of Field Marshal in 1982.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for London in 1986.¹ He was appointed Knight, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (K.St.J.) in 1986.¹ He held the office of Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London between 1986 and 1998.¹ He was created Baron Bramall, of Bushfield in the County of Hampshire [U.K. Life Peer] on 9 February 1987.^1,5 He was appointed Knight, Order of the Garter (K.G.) in 1990.¹ He wrote the book The Chiefs, published 1993, co-author.¹

     Dorothy Avril Wentworth Vernon was born on 25 April 1922 at 66 Onslow Gardens, Kensington, London, England.^2,3 She was the daughter of Brig.-Gen. Henry Albemarle Vernon.¹ She married Field Marshal Edwin Noel Westby Bramall, Baron Bramall, son of Major Edmund Haseldon Bramall and Katherine Bridget Westby, in 1949 at Winchester, Hampshire, England.^1,4 She died on 22 July 2015 at age 93.²
     Dorothy Avril Wentworth Vernon usually went by her middle name of Avril.⁵ From 1949, her married name became Bramall.¹ After her marriage, Dorothy Avril Wentworth Vernon was styled as Baroness Bramall on 9 February 1987.

     Brig.-Gen. Henry Albemarle Vernon was born on 5 December 1879.² He was the son of Herbert Charles Erskine Vernon and Helen Mayne Liptrott.² He died on 27 October 1943 at age 63.³
     He lived at Stoke Bruerne Park, Northamptonshire, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Royal Corps of Signals.⁴ He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)¹

     Janet Livingston married Hon. Nicolas Bramall, son of Field Marshal Edwin Noel Westby Bramall, Baron Bramall and Dorothy Avril Wentworth Vernon, in 1976.¹ She and Hon. Nicolas Bramall were divorced in 1986.¹
     From 1976, her married name became Bramall.¹

     Hon. Sara G. M. Bramall was born in 1951.¹ She is the daughter of Field Marshal Edwin Noel Westby Bramall, Baron Bramall and Dorothy Avril Wentworth Vernon.¹ She married Dr. Edwin Robert Bickerstaff in 1987.¹
     From 1987, her married name became Bickerstaff.¹

     Dr. Edwin Robert Bickerstaff was born on 20 November 1920 at Aberystywth, Cardiganshire, Wales^G.² He married, firstly, Claire Woodhall in 1943.² He and Claire Woodhall were divorced.² He married, secondly, Hon. Sara G. M. Bramall, daughter of Field Marshal Edwin Noel Westby Bramall, Baron Bramall and Dorothy Avril Wentworth Vernon, in 1987.¹ He died circa 7 March 2008.²
