     Major Charles Francis Blackett was born on 6 January 1841.¹ He was the son of Sir Edward Blackett, 6th Bt. and Julia Monck.¹ He married Henrietta Louise Johanna Martha Schmidt, daughter of Carl Friedrich Schmidt, on 27 November 1886.¹ He died on 3 February 1919 at age 78.¹
     He fought in the Indian Mutiny.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the Rifle Brigade.¹

     Henrietta Louise Johanna Martha Schmidt was the daughter of Carl Friedrich Schmidt.¹ She married Major Charles Francis Blackett, son of Sir Edward Blackett, 6th Bt. and Julia Monck, on 27 November 1886.¹ She died on 24 January 1944.¹
     From 27 November 1886, her married name became Blackett.¹

     Arthur Edward Blackett was born on 14 May 1874.¹ He was the son of Colonel Sir Edward William Blackett, 7th Bt. and Hon. Julia Frances Somerville.¹ He married Diana de Bonetto Goetz, daughter of Rudolph Goetz, on 30 October 1917.¹ He died on 24 February 1959 at age 84, without issue.¹
