James Barlow Smythe.1 She married, firstly, Cecil Edward Bewes, son of Thomas Bewes and Elizabeth Penrose Davies, on 1 August 1893 at St. John, Notting Hill, London, England.1,2 She married, secondly, William Spiller Birdwood, son of General Christopher Birdwood and Lydia Juliana Taylor, on 14 February 1917.1 She died on 11 November 1930.1
     From 1 August 1893, her married name became Bewes.1 From 14 February 1917, her married name became Birdwood.1
