     Reverend Joseph Taylor was a missionary for the Honourable East India Company.¹

     Sir George Christopher Molesworth Birdwood was born on 8 December 1832.¹ He was the son of General Christopher Birdwood and Lydia Juliana Taylor.¹ He married Frances Anne Tolcher, daughter of Edward Tolcher, on 10 February 1856.¹ He died on 28 June 1917 at age 84.¹
     He graduated with a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.)¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of the Star of India (C.S.I.)¹ He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Indian Empire (K.C.I.E.)¹

     Frances Anne Tolcher was the daughter of Edward Tolcher.¹ She married Sir George Christopher Molesworth Birdwood, son of General Christopher Birdwood and Lydia Juliana Taylor, on 10 February 1856.¹ She died in January 1921.¹
     From 10 February 1856, her married name became Birdwood.¹

     Edward Tolcher lived at Harewood, Plympton, Devon, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of officer in the Royal Navy.¹

     George Brodrick Birdwood was born on 27 December 1860.¹ He was the son of Sir George Christopher Molesworth Birdwood and Frances Anne Tolcher.¹ He died on 11 December 1921 at age 60.¹
