Sir John Napier, 1st/4th Bt.1 
He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Bedfordshire.3 He was created 1st Baronet Napier, of Luton Hoo, co. Bedford [England] on 4 March 1660/61, with the precendency of 25 Nov 1612.3 He twice fell from his horse, and became so crazed that a commission of lunacy was awarded against him.3 He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Napier, of Luton Hoo, co. Bedford [E., 1612] in 1675.3
