     Joseph Mellard Bibby was born on 6 August 1806.¹ He was the son of John Bibby and Mary Mellard.¹ He married Ellen Lord.¹ He died on 22 December 1855 at age 49, without issue.¹

     Ellen Lord was born circa 1811.¹ She married Joseph Mellard Bibby, son of John Bibby and Mary Mellard.¹ She died on 25 October 1904.¹
     Her married name became Bibby.¹

     John Bibby was born on 14 December 1810.¹ He was the son of John Bibby and Mary Mellard.¹ He married, firstly, Fanny Hartley, daughter of Jesse Hartley, on 5 June 1838.¹ He married, secondly, Anna Maria Emily Fleetwood Hesketh, daughter of Reverend Charles Hesketh, on 19 April 1860.¹ He died on 4 April 1883 at age 72.¹
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹ He lived at Hart Hill, Allerton, Lancashire, England^G.¹

     Fanny Hartley was the daughter of Jesse Hartley.¹ She married John Bibby, son of John Bibby and Mary Mellard, on 5 June 1838.¹ She died on 13 November 1856.¹
     From 5 June 1838, her married name became Bibby.¹

     Jesse Hartley was a chief engineer and designer at the Liverpool Dockls.¹ He lived at Bootle, Lancashire, England^G.¹

     Edward Bibby was born on 10 February 1848.¹ He was the son of John Bibby and Fanny Hartley.¹ He died on 25 October 1907 at age 59, unmarried.¹

     Ellen Bibby was born on 28 March 1841.¹ She was the daughter of John Bibby and Fanny Hartley.¹ She died on 12 January 1903 at age 61, unmarried.¹

     Fanny Bibby was born on 18 July 1843.¹ She was the daughter of John Bibby and Fanny Hartley.¹ She died on 29 July 1922 at age 79, unmarried.¹

     Alice Bibby was born on 28 January 1845.¹ She was the daughter of John Bibby and Fanny Hartley.¹ She married William Samuel Graves on 30 April 1873.¹ She died on 2 November 1879 at age 34.¹
     From 30 April 1873, her married name became Graves.¹
     She had one surviving daughter.¹

     William Samuel Graves married Alice Bibby, daughter of John Bibby and Fanny Hartley, on 30 April 1873.¹
