     Jean Mary Dawnay was born on 22 March 1925 at Brighton, Sussex, England.² She was the daughter of Frederick Archibald Dawnay and Maud Howard.² She married Major Prince George Galitzine, son of Prince Vladimir Emmanuelovich Galitzine and Ekaterina Gräfin von Carlow, in May 1963 at Rome, Italy^G.¹ She died on 14 December 2016 at age 91.²
     From May 1963, her married name became Galitzine.¹ She was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.) in 2012.²

     Frances Shelley was the daughter of Richard Shelley.¹ She married James Best, son of Mawdisty Best and Elizabeth Fearne.¹ She died on 30 October 1808.¹
     Her married name became Best.¹
