     Eleanora Jane Ross is the daughter of Colonel Andrew Ross and Isabella MacDonnell.^1,2 She married Robert Bell, son of Benjamin Bell of Blackethouse and Grizel Hamilton.¹
     Her married name became Bell.¹

     Benjamin Robert Bell was born on 4 October 1810.¹ He was the son of Robert Bell and Eleanora Jane Ross.¹ He married Janet Alexander Hunt, daughter of James Hunt of Pittencrieff, on 22 May 1855.¹ He died on 25 December 1886 at age 76.¹
     He was an Advocate in 1832.¹ He held the office of Sheriff of Elgin.¹ He held the office of Sheriff of Nairnshire.¹ He held the office of Sheriff of Banff.¹

     Janet Alexander Hunt was the daughter of James Hunt of Pittencrieff.¹ She married Benjamin Robert Bell, son of Robert Bell and Eleanora Jane Ross, on 22 May 1855.¹ She died on 2 June 1912.¹
     From 22 May 1855, her married name became Bell.¹

     James Hunt of Pittencrieff held the office of Sheriff of Banff in 1852.¹

     Robert Hamilton Bell was born on 13 June 1860.¹ He was the son of Benjamin Robert Bell and Janet Alexander Hunt.¹ He died on 20 June 1897 at age 37, unmarried.¹

     Margaret Isabella Bell was born in June 1856.¹ She was the daughter of Benjamin Robert Bell and Janet Alexander Hunt.¹ She married Hugh Blair in June 1880.¹
     From June 1880, her married name became Blair.¹

     He was registered as a Member, Institute of Chartered Accountants (C.A.)¹
