Else Markenstam1 

Else Markenstam was the daughter of Paul Gottfrid P. G. Johansson.3 She married, firstly, Dr. Arthur Allen.1 She married, secondly, Brigadier Kenneth Hargreaves, son of Henry Hargreaves, in 1958.1 She died in 1968.1
Her married name became Allen.1 From 1958, her married name became Hargreaves.1

Brigadier Kenneth Hargreaves1 

Brigadier Kenneth Hargreaves was born on 23 February 1903.1 He was the son of Henry Hargreaves.3 He married, firstly, Else Markenstam, daughter of Paul Gottfrid P. G. Johansson, in 1958.1 He married, secondly, Hon. Margaret Lane Fox, daughter of George Richard Lane-Fox, 1st and last Baron Bingley and Hon. Mary Agnes Emily Wood, on 15 February 1969 at Chapel of Bramham ParkG.1 He died on 27 March 1990 at age 87.1
He was awarded the Territorial Decoration (T.D.)1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)1 He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1956.1 He adopted Dr. Ingrid Mary Hargreaves-Allen. He adopted Peter Hargreaves-Allen. He held the office of High Sheriff of Yorkshire between 1962 and 1963.1 He held the office of Lord-Lieutenant of the West Riding, Yorkshire between 1970 and 1974.1 He held the office of Lord-Lieutenant of West Yorkshire between 1974 and 1978.3 He lived at Easby House, Great Ouseburn, Yorkshire, EnglandG.3
