     Jane Hamilton was the daughter of Venerable Anthony Hamilton and Charity Graeme Farquhar.¹ She married Reverend Thomas Hans Sotheby, son of Admiral Thomas Sotheby and Lady Mary Anne Bourke, on 27 December 1838.¹ She died in 1842.¹

     Reverend Thomas Hans Sotheby was born on 24 November 1809.² He was the son of Admiral Thomas Sotheby and Lady Mary Anne Bourke.² He married Jane Hamilton, daughter of Venerable Anthony Hamilton and Charity Graeme Farquhar, on 27 December 1838.¹ He died in 1888.¹
