     He was also known as Michael King French.² He was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, England^G.² He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Field Artillery.¹ He was President of the Dublin Stock Exchange between 1947 and 1948.² He lived at Strangemore, Dungiven, County Londonderry, Ireland^G.² He lived at Dolland, Clonsilla, County Dublin, Ireland^G.²

     William Michael French was born on 15 May 1842.² He was the son of Reverend Edward French and Mary King.^3,2 He and Frances Browning Hone obtained a marriage license on 17 August 1870.² He died on 23 July 1887 at age 45.²
     He was educated at Foyle College, Duncreggan, County Londonderry, Ireland^G.² He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G, in 1868 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)² He held the office of County Court Judge.² He lived at 15 Lower Pembroke Street, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G.¹

     Lancelot Michael King-French was born on 20 September 1916.¹ He is the son of Michael King-French and Marjory Barrington.¹ He married Mary McMullan, daughter of William McMullan, on 3 June 1939.¹ He died in 1972.²
     He was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, England^G.¹ He was a market gardener.²

     Mary McMullan is the daughter of William McMullan.¹ She married Lancelot Michael King-French, son of Michael King-French and Marjory Barrington, on 3 June 1939.¹
     From 3 June 1939, her married name became King-French.¹ She lived in 1976 at Ashroe, Shore Road, Malahide, County Dublin, Ireland^G.²

     William McMullan lived at The Moorings, Limavady, County Londonderry, Ireland^G.¹

     Iona Sarah King-French was born on 17 March 1940.¹ She is the daughter of Lancelot Michael King-French and Mary McMullan.¹ She married Dr. Albert Pratt, son of William Pratt, on 14 October 1967.²
     She was educated at Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G.² From 14 October 1967, her married name became Pratt.¹

     Dr. Albert Pratt is the son of William Pratt.² He married Iona Sarah King-French, daughter of Lancelot Michael King-French and Mary McMullan, on 14 October 1967.³

     Primrose Madawe King-French was born on 4 May 1947.¹ She is the daughter of Lancelot Michael King-French and Mary McMullan.¹ She married Ian David Nish, son of John Nish, in May 1968.²
     From May 1968, her married name became Nish.

     Jane Kathleen French was born on 15 January 1872.¹ She was the daughter of William Michael French and Frances Browning Hone.¹ She died on 10 June 1956 at age 84, unmarried.¹
