     Marius Peregrine Lechmere Barran was born on 18 February 1949.¹ He is the son of Sir David Haven Barran and Jane Lechmere Macaskie.¹ He married Veronica Teresa D’Abreu, daughter of Professor Alphonsus Ligouri D’Abreu and Elizabeth Ursula Arienwen Throckmorton, on 22 January 1972.¹
     He was educated at Downside School, Bath, Somerset, England^G.¹ He was educated at Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G.¹ He lived in 2003 at 64 St. Marks Road, London, England^G.¹

     Veronica Teresa D’Abreu was born on 10 July 1948.² She is the daughter of Professor Alphonsus Ligouri D’Abreu and Elizabeth Ursula Arienwen Throckmorton.^1,2 She married Marius Peregrine Lechmere Barran, son of Sir David Haven Barran and Jane Lechmere Macaskie, on 22 January 1972.¹
     From 22 January 1972, her married name became Barran.¹

     Professor Alphonsus Ligouri D’Abreu was born on 5 August 1906.² He was the son of Dr. John Francis D’Abreu and Teresa Mary Gertrude Noonan.^3,2 He married Elizabeth Ursula Arienwen Throckmorton, daughter of Lt.-Col. Richard Courtenay Brabazon Throckmorton and Lilian Langford Brooke, on 8 January 1935.³ He died in 1976.⁴
     He graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine (M.B.)¹ He was appointed Fellow, Royal College of Surgeons (F.R.C.S.)¹ He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.)³ He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.)¹ He graduated with a Master of Surgery (M.Ch.)¹ He lived in 1970 at The Ford House, Coughton, Alcester, Warwickshire, England^G.³

     Perdita Elizabeth Barran was born in 1972.¹ She is the daughter of Marius Peregrine Lechmere Barran and Veronica Teresa D’Abreu.¹

     Lorna Marina Barran was born in 1974.¹ She is the daughter of Marius Peregrine Lechmere Barran and Veronica Teresa D’Abreu.¹

     Phoebe Alice Barran was born in 1981.¹ She is the daughter of Marius Peregrine Lechmere Barran and Veronica Teresa D’Abreu.¹

     Amy Louise Barran was born in 1984.¹ She is the daughter of Marius Peregrine Lechmere Barran and Veronica Teresa D’Abreu.¹

     Adrian Stuart Lechmere Barran was born on 20 May 1959.¹ He is the son of Sir David Haven Barran and Jane Lechmere Macaskie.¹
