Suffolk [U.K., 1834] on 24 November 1880.1 He graduated from Magdalen College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, in 1882 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He was admitted to Lincoln’s Inn entitled to practise as a Barrister.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Territorial Force.1 He was appointed Fellow, Society of Antiquaries (F.S.A.)1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Surrey.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Surrey.1 He held the office of County Alderman for Surrey.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Surrey in 1912.1

He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He graduated from Magdalen College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, in 1911 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He fought in the First World War between 1914 and 1919, with the Surrey Yeomanry and Gordon Highalnders, and was mentioned in despatches twice.1 He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.) and bar.1 He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Brodie, of Boxford, co. Suffolk [U.K., 1834] on 20 January 1938.1 He was assistant commandant, Cardiganshire Special Constabulary between 1940 and 1945.1 He became a Master in 1944, Skinner’s Company.1 He was Governor at Tonbridge School, Tonbridge, Kent, EnglandG.1
