     Edmund Bastard was born on 7 February 1758.¹ He was the son of William Bastard and Anne Worsley.² He married Jane Pownall, daughter of Philemon Pownall, on 1 July 1783 at St. George Hanover Square, London, England.¹ He died on 10 June 1816 at age 58.¹

     Jane Frances Warburton is the daughter of John Warburton.¹ She married Charles Edward Barry Baldwin, son of Charles Barry Baldwin and Frances Lydia Boyd, on 30 October 1851 at St. Ann’s, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.¹
     From 30 October 1851, her married name became Baldwin.¹

     Bessie Geraldine Gundreda Warren was the daughter of Vice-Admiral John Borlase Warren and Mary Elizabeth St. Leger Atkins.² She married Sir John Scarlett Walsham, 3rd Bt., son of Sir John Walsham, 2nd Bt. and Florence Campbell Scarlett, on 20 November 1906.¹ She died on 8 December 1941.²
     From 20 November 1906, her married name became Walsham.

     Rear-Admiral Sir John Scarlett Warren Walsham, 4th Bt. was born on 29 November 1910.¹ He was the son of Sir John Scarlett Walsham, 3rd Bt. and Bessie Geraldine Gundreda Warren.² He married Sheila Christina Bannerman, daughter of Bertrand Bannerman and Vera Stuart, on 21 November 1936.¹ He died in 1992.¹
     He was educated at Rugby School, Rugby, Warwickshire, England.¹ He fought in the Second World War.² He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Walsham, of Knill Court, Herefordshire [U.K., 1831] on 14 February 1940.¹ He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1944.¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1963.¹ He retired from the military in 1964, with the rank of Rear-Admiral.² He was Superintendant of Portsmouth Dockyard.¹ He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of St. Michael and St. George (K.C.M.G.)³ He lived at Knill Court, Herefordshire, England.¹
