Donegal [U.K., 1911] on 8 November 2002.¹ He lived in 2003 at Evenshade, Sandown Road, Esher, Surrey, England^G.¹

     Beverley Ann Wright is the daughter of Bertram Joffre Wright.¹ She married Sir Richard Bentley Ball, 5th Bt., son of Sir Charles Irwin Ball, 4th Bt. and Alison Mary Bentley, on 31 August 1991.¹
     From 31 August 1991, her married name became Ball.¹

     Anna Frances Ball was born on 20 February 1996.¹ She is the daughter of Sir Richard Bentley Ball, 5th Bt. and Beverley Ann Wright.¹

     Sir Charles Irwin Ball, 4th Bt. was born on 12 January 1924.¹ He was the son of Sir Nigel Gresley Ball, 3rd Bt. and Florine Isabel Irwin.¹ He married, firstly, Alison Mary Bentley, daughter of Lt.-Col. Percy Holman Bentley, on 2 September 1950.¹ He and Alison Mary Bentley were divorced in 1983.² He married, secondly, Christine Trilby Knowles Hobbs, daughter of William Bebo Hobbs, on 14 May 1994.² He died on 8 November 2002 at age 78.¹

     Sir Nigel Gresley Ball, 3rd Bt. was born on 27 August 1892.¹ He was the son of Sir Charles Bent Ball, 1st Bt. and Annie Julia Kinahan.¹ He married Florine Isabel Irwin, daughter of Colonel Herbert Edwardes Irwin, on 28 December 1922.¹ He died in 1978.¹

     Sir Charles Bent Ball, 1st Bt. was born on 21 February 1851.¹ He was the son of Robert Ball and Amelia Gresley Hellicar.^1,2 He married Annie Julia Kinahan, daughter of Daniel Kinahan and Harriet Hone, on 23 July 1874.¹ He died on 17 March 1916 at age 65.¹

Donegal [U.K., 1911] on 23 June 1911.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in 1914 in the Royal Army Medical Corps.¹

     Sir Charles Arthur Kinahan Ball, 2nd Bt. was born on 29 May 1877.¹ He was the son of Sir Charles Bent Ball, 1st Bt. and Annie Julia Kinahan.¹ He married Elizabeth Smyth Wilson, daughter of Joseph Smyth Wilson, on 25 April 1907.¹ He died on 21 December 1945 at age 68, without male issue.¹

     Robert Ball was born on 1 April 1802.¹ He was the son of Bob Stawell Ball and Mary Green.^1,2 He married Amelia Gresley Hellicar, daughter of Thomas Hellicar and Catherine Gresley, on 21 September 1837.² He died on 30 March 1857 at age 54.¹
     He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G, in 1850 with a Honorary Doctor of Law (LL.D.)² He was Treasurer of the Royal Irish Academy.² He was a director of Trinity College Museum.² He was President of the Geological Society of Ireland.² He lived at Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G.² He was a naturalist.²

     Bob Stawell Ball was born on 18 September 1768.¹ He was the son of Robert Ball and Mary Croker.² He married Mary Green, daughter of Roger Green and Mary Ellis, on 20 January 1799.² He died on 5 January 1841 at age 72.¹
