     Philippa Bacon was baptised on 29 July 1672.¹ She was the daughter of Sir Edmund Bacon, 4th Bt. and Elizabeth Crane.¹ She married Sir Edmund Bacon, 4th Bt., son of Sir Henry Bacon, 3rd Bt. and Sarah Castleton, circa 25 December 1688 at Redgrave, Norfolk, England^G.¹ She died circa July 1710.¹ She was buried on 12 July 1710 at Gillingham, Norfolk, England^G.¹

     Mary Castell is the daughter of John Castell.¹ She married Sir Edmund Bacon, 4th Bt., son of Sir Henry Bacon, 3rd Bt. and Sarah Castleton, on 16 April 1713 at Raveningham, Norfolk, England^G.¹
     From 16 April 1713, her married name became Bacon.¹

     Sir Edmund Bacon, 5th Bt. was born on 7 August 1693.¹ He was the son of Sir Edmund Bacon, 4th Bt. and Philippa Bacon.¹ He was baptised on 14 August 1693 at Gillingham, Norfolk, England^G.¹ He married Susan Rebow, daughter of Sir Isaac Rebow, on 7 November 1724 at Chapel Royal, Whitehall, London, England^G.² He died on 4 October 1738 at age 45 at Bath, Somerset, England^G.¹ He was buried on 16 October 1738 at Gillingham, Norfolk, England^G.²
     He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Bacon, of Mildenhall, co. Suffolk [E., 1627] on 10 July 1721, and ‘of Gillingham, Norfolk.¹‘ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Thetford between 1727 and 1738.²

     Susan Rebow was born in September 1687.¹ She was the daughter of Sir Isaac Rebow.¹ She married Sir Edmund Bacon, 5th Bt., son of Sir Edmund Bacon, 4th Bt. and Philippa Bacon, on 7 November 1724 at Chapel Royal, Whitehall, London, England^G.¹ She died after 1771.¹
     From 7 November 1724, her married name became Bacon.¹

     Sir Isaac Rebow lived at Colchester, Essex, England^G.¹

     Sir Edmund Bacon, 6th Bt. was born on 7 August 1725.¹ He was the son of Sir Edmund Bacon, 5th Bt. and Susan Rebow.¹ He was baptised on 17 August 1725 at Gillingham, Norfolk, England^G.¹ He died on 6 April 1750 at age 24, unmarried.¹ He was buried on 12 April 1750 at Gillingham, Norfolk, England^G.¹ He died intestate and his estate was administered on 7 June 1750.¹
     He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Bacon, of Mildenhall, co. Suffolk [E., 1627] on 4 October 1738, and ‘of Gillingham, Norfolk.¹‘ He was educated in 1741 at Westminster School, Westminster, London, England^G.¹

     Sir Henry Bacon, 7th Bt. was born on 5 October 1693.¹ He was the son of Sir Edmund Bacon, 4th Bt. and Philippa Bacon.¹ He was baptised on 8 October 1693 at Gillingham, Norfolk, England^G.¹ He died circa April 1753, unmarried.¹ He was buried on 10 April 1753 at Gillingham, Norfolk, England^G.¹
     He succeeded as the 7th Baronet Bacon, of Mildenhall, co. Suffolk [E., 1627] on 6 April 1750, and ‘of Gillingham, Norfolk.¹‘

     Sir Richard Bacon, 7th and 8th Bt. was born on 22 February 1695.¹ He was the son of Sir Edmund Bacon, 4th Bt. and Philippa Bacon.¹ He was baptised on 5 March 1695 at Gillingham, Norfolk, England^G.¹ He married, firstly, Bridget Mayhew on 29 December 1720 at St. Mary’s, Colchester, Essex, England^G.² He married, secondly, Lucy Gardiner, daughter of Thomas Gardiner, on 18 July 1729 at St. Paul’s, Covent Gardens, London, England^G.³ He died on 26 March 1773 at age 78, without surviving issue.³ He was buried on 11 April 1773.³ His will was proven (by probate) on 14 April 1773.³
     He succeeded as the 8th Baronet Bacon, of Mildenhall, co. Suffolk [E., 1627] in April 1753, and ‘of Colchester, Essex.¹‘ He succeeded as the 7th Baronet Bacon, of Redgrave, co. Suffolk [E., 1611] on 30 April 1755, and ‘of Colchester, Essex.²‘ His last will was dated 21 January 1773.

     Bridget Mayhew married Sir Richard Bacon, 7th and 8th Bt., son of Sir Edmund Bacon, 4th Bt. and Philippa Bacon, on 29 December 1720 at St. Mary’s, Colchester, Essex, England^G.¹ She died on 6 January 1725/26.² She was buried at Trinity Church, Colchester, Essex, England^G.²
     From 29 December 1720, her married name became Bacon.¹
