     Sarah Juliet Backhouse was the daughter of Edmund Backhouse and Juliet Mary Fox.¹ She married Horatio Noble Pym, son of Reverend William Wollaston Pym and Edith Elizabeth Noble, on 12 September 1876.² She died in 1880.³
     From 12 September 1876, her married name became Pym.¹

     Horatio Noble Pym was born on 2 July 1844.¹ He was the son of Reverend William Wollaston Pym and Edith Elizabeth Noble.¹ He married, firstly, Sarah Juliet Backhouse, daughter of Edmund Backhouse and Juliet Mary Fox, on 12 September 1876.¹ He married, secondly, Jane Hannah Backhouse Fox, daughter of Robert Barclay Fox and Jane Gurney Backhouse, on 2 May 1881.¹ He died on 5 May 1896 at age 51.¹
     He was educated at Bedford School, Bedford, Bedfordshire, England^G.¹

     Roland Charles Backhouse was born on 15 December 1874.¹ He was the son of Sir Jonathan Edmund Backhouse, 1st Bt. and Florence Salusbury-Trelawny.¹ He died on 18 December 1877 at age 3.¹

     Admiral Oliver Backhouse was born on 4 June 1876.¹ He was the son of Sir Jonathan Edmund Backhouse, 1st Bt. and Florence Salusbury-Trelawny.¹ He married Margaret Susan Dyson Perrins, daughter of Charles William Dyson Perrins and Catherine Christina Gregory, on 15 December 1920.¹ He died on 25 March 1943 at age 66, without issue.¹
     He fought in the Somaliland Campaign in 1904, where he was mentioned in despatches.¹ He fought in the First World War.¹ He was Commander of the 2nd Naval Brigade, Antwerp and Dardanelles between 1914 and 1915 when he was mentioned in despatches twice more.¹ He was awarded the Chevalier, Ordre national de la Légion d’honneur.¹ He was awarded the Croix de Guerre.¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1915.¹ He was Commander of the H.M.S. Orion in 1916 during the Battle of Jutland, for which he was again mentioned in despatches.¹ He was awarded the Silver Medal of Italy.¹ He was Commander of the H.M.S. Royal Sovereign in 1920 during the occupation of Constantinople.¹ He was Superintendant of the Sheerness Dockyard between 1923 and 1925.¹ He was Admiral Superintendant of the Devonport Dockyard between 1927 and 1931.¹

     Margaret Susan Dyson Perrins was born in 1896 at Malvern, Worcestershire, England.² She was the daughter of Charles William Dyson Perrins and Catherine Christina Gregory.^1,2 She married Admiral Oliver Backhouse, son of Sir Jonathan Edmund Backhouse, 1st Bt. and Florence Salusbury-Trelawny, on 15 December 1920.¹ She died on 26 November 1973.¹
     From 15 December 1920, her married name became Backhouse.¹

     Charles William Dyson Perrins was born in 1864 at Worcestershire, England.² He was the son of James Dyson Perrins and Frances Sarah Perrins.³ He married Catherine Christina Gregory, daughter of Allan A. Gregory, in 1889.³ He married Florence Winifred Midwood Milne on 6 September 1923.³ He died in 1958.²

     From 4 June 1907, her married name became Backhouse.¹ She was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.) in 1946.¹

     Edeltraud Margaretha Perz was the daughter of Hofrat Dr. Hans Perz.¹ She married Richard Miles Backhouse, son of Admiral Sir Roger Roland Charles Backhouse and Dora Louise Findlay, on 21 December 1951.¹ She died on 13 April 2019.²
     From 21 December 1951, her married name became Backhouse.¹ She lived in 2003 at 73 Divinity Road, Oxford, OXfordshire, England^G.¹
