     Wilhelmina Mary Ruddell was born in 1872.² She was the daughter of William Ruddell and Elizabeth Mary Barlow.^1,2 She married Alfred Constantine Aykroyd, son of Alfred Aykroyd and Ellen Milnes, on 3 June 1896.¹ She died on 27 November 1957.¹
     From 3 June 1896, her married name became Aykroyd.¹

     William Ruddell was born in 1812.² He was the son of James Ruddell and Ann McMurray.² He married, firstly, Elizabeth Galbraith in 1840. He married, secondly, Elizabeth Mary Barlow, daughter of unknown Barlow, in 1870.² He died circa 1878, from pneumonia and congestion.² His will (dated with £140,000) was proven (by probate.)² He was buried at Mount Jerome Cemetery, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G.²
     He was in the tobacco business.² He lived at 134 James’s Street, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G.¹

     Wallace Ruddell Aykroyd was born on 30 July 1899.¹ He was the son of Alfred Constantine Aykroyd and Wilhelmina Mary Ruddell.¹ He married Freda Kathleen Buttery, daughter of Harry Brazier Buttery, on 18 October 1930.¹ He died in February 1979 at age 79.¹
     He was educated at Leys School, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G.¹ He fought in the First World War, in the Royal Air Force.¹ He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G, with a Bachelor of Medicine (M.B.)¹ He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G, in 1924 with a Bachelor of Surgery (B.Ch.)¹ He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G, in 1928 with a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.)¹ He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G, in 1938 with a Doctor of Science (Sc.D.)¹ He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1943.¹ He was a director of the Nutrition Division, Food and Agriculture Division of the United Nations in 1946 at Washington, D.C., U.S.A.^G.¹

     Freda Kathleen Buttery is the daughter of Harry Brazier Buttery.¹ She married Wallace Ruddell Aykroyd, son of Alfred Constantine Aykroyd and Wilhelmina Mary Ruddell, on 18 October 1930.¹
     From 18 October 1930, her married name became Aykroyd.¹

     Ian Peter Lister Aykroyd was born on 1 June 1932.¹ He is the son of Wallace Ruddell Aykroyd and Freda Kathleen Buttery.¹ He married, firstly, Susan Audrey Ives, daughter of Frank William Ives, on 13 April 1957.¹ He and Susan Audrey Ives were divorced in 1978.¹ He married, secondly, Veronica Jane Brown, daughter of John Brown, on 21 October 1980.¹
