     Sir Frederick Alfred Aykroyd, 1st Bt. was born on 25 June 1873.¹ He was the son of William Edward Aykroyd and Alice Milnes.¹ He married Lily May Roberts, daughter of Sir James Roberts, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Foster, on 8 April 1902.² He died on 31 December 1949 at age 76.¹
     He was created 1st Baronet Aykroyd, of Birstwith Hall, co. York [U.K.] on 23 March 1929.¹ He held the office of High Sheriff of Yorkshire in 1941.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for the Liberty of Ripon.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for the West Riding, Yorkshire.¹

     William Edward Aykroyd was born on 11 March 1847.¹ He was the son of William Aykroyd and Mary Constantine.^1,2 He married Alice Milnes, daughter of Henry Milnes, on 7 April 1869.¹ He died on 1 March 1927 at age 79.¹
     He held the office of Mayor of Bradford in 1898.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹ He lived at Ashdown, Apperley Bridge, Yorkshire, England^G.¹

     William Aykroyd was born on 4 May 1808.² He was the son of Charles Aykroyd and Susanna (?)² He married Mary Constantine on 22 February 1836.² He died on 7 July 1879 at age 71.²
     He lived at Bradford, Yorkshire, England^G.¹

     Alice Milnes was the daughter of Henry Milnes.¹ She married William Edward Aykroyd, son of William Aykroyd and Mary Constantine, on 7 April 1869.¹ She died on 24 May 1911.¹
     From 7 April 1869, her married name became Aykroyd.¹

     Henry Milnes lived at Nearcliffe, Manningham, Yorkshire, England^G.²

     Lt.-Col. Henry Edward Aykroyd was born on 31 August 1871.¹ He was the son of William Edward Aykroyd and Alice Milnes.¹ He died on 31 March 1929 at age 57.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the 49th Division, Royal Field Artillery.¹

     Percy Clifford Aykroyd was born on 27 April 1877.¹ He was the son of William Edward Aykroyd and Alice Milnes.¹ He married Constance Muriel Hill, daughter of Lewis Gordon Hill, on 6 April 1921.¹ He died on 27 November 1946 at age 69.¹

     Constance Muriel Hill was the daughter of Lewis Gordon Hill.¹ She married Percy Clifford Aykroyd, son of William Edward Aykroyd and Alice Milnes, on 6 April 1921.¹ She died on 12 January 1968.¹
     From 6 April 1921, her married name became Aykroyd.¹

     Lewis Gordon Hill lived at Lake View, Bradford, Yorkshire, England^G.¹

     Ada Aykroyd was the daughter of William Edward Aykroyd and Alice Milnes.¹ She married Cromwell Walter Jones, son of John Lambert Jones, on 28 June 1899.¹ She died on 19 April 1941.¹
     From 28 June 1899, her married name became Jones.¹
