     Henrietta Borlase was baptised on 4 September 1660 at Great Marlow, Buckinghamshire, England^G.¹ She was the daughter of William Borlase and Joanna Bankes.¹ She married, firstly, Sir Richard Astley, 1st Bt., son of Walter Astley and Grace Trentham, circa 1680.¹ She married, secondly, Maj.-Gen. John Richmond Webb on 3 February 1689/90.¹ She died on 27 June 1711 at age 50.¹ She was buried on 29 June 1711 at Ludgershall, England^G.¹
     From circa 1680, her married name became Astley.¹ From 3 February 1689/90, her married name became Webb.¹

     William Borlase was the son of Sir William Borlase and Amy Popham.² He married Joanna Bankes, daughter of Sir John Bankes and Mary Hawtrey. He died circa 29 October 1665.² He was buried on 1 November 1665.²
     He lived at Great Marlow, Buckinghamshire, England.³ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Marlow in 1659.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Marlow in 1660.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Marlow between 1661 and 1665.¹

     Joanna Bankes was born in 1638.² She was the daughter of Sir John Bankes and Mary Hawtrey.¹ She married William Borlase, son of Sir William Borlase and Amy Popham.

     Sir John Bankes was born in 1589 at Keswick, Cumberland, England.² He was the son of John Bankes and Elizabeth Hassell.³ He married Mary Hawtrey, daughter of Ralph Hawtrey, in 1616.⁴ He died on 28 December 1644 at Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.³
     He was also known as Sir John Bancks.⁵ He graduated with a Doctor of Civil Law (D.C.L.)¹ He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.)¹ He lived at Corfe Castle, Swanage, Dorset, England^G.¹ He lived at Kingston Lacy, Dorset, England.¹ He held the office of Lord Chief Justice of the Court of Common Pleas between 1641 and 1644.^5,6

     Richard Astley was born circa 1656.¹ He was the son of Sir Richard Astley, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Philipps.¹ He died after 1662, without issue.¹

     Anne Astley was born illegitimately circa 1688 at Beckbury Hall, Shropshire, England^G.^1,2 She was the daughter of Sir Richard Astley, 1st Bt. and unknown Reynell.¹ She married Walter Stubbs.¹ She died in March 1729 at Beckbury Hall, Shropshire, England^G.¹
     Her married name became Stubbs.¹ She received Beckbury Hall, Shropshire from her father.¹

     Walter Stubbs was born in 1637.² He married Anne Astley, daughter of Sir Richard Astley, 1st Bt. and unknown Reynell.¹ He died in September 1697.¹

     Maj.-Gen. John Richmond Webb was born circa 1668.¹ He married Henrietta Borlase, daughter of William Borlase and Joanna Bankes, on 3 February 1689/90.¹ He died in September 1724.¹
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Ludgershall.¹

     Mary Prynce was the daughter of Francis Prynce and Mary Gilly.¹ She married Sir John Astley, 2nd Bt., son of Sir Richard Astley, 1st Bt. and Henrietta Borlase, on 27 May 1711 at Tibberton, Shropshire, England^G.¹ She died in 1764.¹
     From 27 May 1711, her married name became Astley.¹
