     Cecil Mary Ashburnham was the daughter of John Woodgate Ashburnham and Julia Letitia Merriman.¹ She married Commander Basil William Reid Hall, son of Captain Basil Sidmouth de Ros Hall and Grace Reid, on 8 May 1894.¹ She died on 8 February 1919.¹
     From 8 May 1894, her married name became Hall.¹

     Commander Basil William Reid Hall was born on 31 October 1865.² He was the son of Captain Basil Sidmouth de Ros Hall and Grace Reid.² He married, firstly, Cecil Mary Ashburnham, daughter of John Woodgate Ashburnham and Julia Letitia Merriman, on 8 May 1894.¹ He married, secondly, Mary Esther Blomfield, daughter of Sir Arthur William Blomfield and Sara Louisa Ryan, on 9 February 1920.² He died on 10 August 1942 at age 76, without issue.²
     He gained the rank of Commander in the Royal Navy.¹

     Katharine Piers Ashburnham was the daughter of John Woodgate Ashburnham and Julia Letitia Merriman.¹ She died on 16 April 1905, unmarried.¹

     Gladys Maud Ashburnham is the daughter of John Woodgate Ashburnham and Julia Letitia Merriman.¹ She married William John Grant on 30 September 1905.¹
     From 30 September 1905, her married name became Grant.¹
