     Sir Robert Dundas, 1st Bt. was born on 30 June 1761.³ He was the son of Robert Dundas and Elizabeth Turnbull.^4,5 He married Matilda Cockburn, daughter of Archibald Cockburn and Janet Rennie, on 20 July 1798 at St. Cuthbert’s, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland^G.^3,4 He died on 4 January 1835 at age 73 at Heriot Row, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland^G.³
     He held the office of Clerk of Session.³ He was Deputy to the Lord Privy Seal.³ He was created 1st Baronet Dundas, of Beechwood, co. Midlothian [U.K.] on 24 August 1821.⁴

     Matilda Cockburn was born on 7 February 1772 at Cockpen, Midlothian, Scotland^G.² She was the daughter of Archibald Cockburn and Janet Rennie.² She married Sir Robert Dundas, 1st Bt., son of Robert Dundas and Elizabeth Turnbull, on 20 July 1798 at St. Cuthbert’s, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland^G.^2,3 She died in May 1842 at age 70.³
     From 20 July 1798, her married name became Dundas.¹

     Georgina Catherine Dundas was born on 18 February 1843 at Beechwood, Midlothian, Scotland^G.¹ She was the daughter of Sir David Barnett Dundas, 2nd Bt. and Catherine Margaret Whyte-Melville.¹ She was baptised on 15 March 1843 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland^G.¹ She died on 20 June 1854 at age 11 at Beechwood, Midlothian, Scotland^G.¹

     Sydenham Jaspar Dundas was born on 3 June 1859 at Beechwood, Midlothian, Scotland^G.¹ He was the son of Sir David Barnett Dundas, 2nd Bt. and Lady Lucy Anne Pelham.¹ He died on 24 September 1909 at age 50.¹

     Lucy Jane Dundas was born at Beechwood, Midlothian, Scotland^G.¹ She was the daughter of Sir David Barnett Dundas, 2nd Bt. and Catherine Margaret Whyte-Melville.¹ She married Reverend Francis Agnew Bickmore on 31 January 1889 at Beechwood, Midlothian, Scotland^G.¹ She died on 5 March 1929.¹
     From 31 January 1889, her married name became Bickmore.¹

     Matilda Louisa Mary Wilson was the daughter of Minden J. Wilson.¹ She married Sir George Whyte Melville Dundas, 5th Bt., son of Sir David Barnett Dundas, 2nd Bt. and Catherine Margaret Whyte-Melville, on 15 April 1879.¹ She died on 26 April 1945.²
     From 15 April 1879, her married name became Dundas.¹

     Major David George Minden Dundas was born on 3 March 1880 at Beechwood, Midlothian, Scotland^G.¹ He was the son of Sir George Whyte Melville Dundas, 5th Bt. and Matilda Louisa Mary Wilson.¹ He died on 10 February 1918 at age 37 at Madras, India^G.¹ He was buried at Dinapore no. 3 Cemetery, Dinapore, India^G.¹
     He fought in the First World War.¹ He gained the rank of Major in 1918 in the 17th (Loyal Regiment), Indian Army.¹

     Sir Robert Whyte Melville Dundas, 6th Bt. was born on 31 October 1881.² He was the son of Sir George Whyte Melville Dundas, 5th Bt. and Matilda Louisa Mary Wilson.² He married Dorothea Wiseman, daughter of Arthur William Wiseman, on 21 September 1926.¹ He died on 10 October 1981 at age 99, without issue.²
     He was educated at Trinity College, Glenalmond, Perthshire, Scotland^G.² He graduated from Keble College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He was an administrative officer between 1911 and 1930 at Nigeria^G.² He was an Administrative Officer between 1911 and 1930 at Nigeria.¹ He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Dundas, of Beechwood, co. Midlothian [U.K., 1821] on 23 October 1934.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Perthshire in 1940.¹ On his death, his baronetcy became extinct.

     Frederick John Dundas was born on 10 June 1883 at Beechwood, Midlothian, Scotland^G.¹ He was the son of Sir George Whyte Melville Dundas, 5th Bt. and Matilda Louisa Mary Wilson.¹ He died on 1 December 1915 at age 32 at Burma.²
