     Sir Stephen John Arthur, 6th Bt. was born on 1 July 1953.¹ He was the son of Sir Basil Malcolm Arthur, 5th Bt. and Elizabeth Rita Wells.^1,2 He married Carolyn Margaret Diamond, daughter of Burnie Lawrence Diamond, in 1978.¹ He and Carolyn Margaret Diamond were divorced.¹ He died on 15 May 2010 at age 56.³
     He was educated at Timaru Boy’s High School, Timaru, New Zealand^G.¹ He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Arthur, of Upper Canada [U.K., 1841] in 1985.¹

     Carolyn Margaret Diamond is the daughter of Burnie Lawrence Diamond.¹ She married Sir Stephen John Arthur, 6th Bt., son of Sir Basil Malcolm Arthur, 5th Bt. and Elizabeth Rita Wells, in 1978.¹ She and Sir Stephen John Arthur, 6th Bt. were divorced.¹
     From 1978, her married name became Arthur.¹

     Burnie Lawrence Diamond lived at Cairns, Queensland, Australia^G.¹

     Sir Benjamin Nathan Arthur, 7th Bt. was born on 27 March 1979.¹ He is the son of Sir Stephen John Arthur, 6th Bt. and Carolyn Margaret Diamond.¹
     He succeeded as the 7th Baronet Arthur, of Upper Canada [U.K., 1841] on 15 May 2010.²

     Amanda Arthur was born in 1975.¹ She is the daughter of Sir Stephen John Arthur, 6th Bt. and Carolyn Margaret Diamond.¹

     Melanie Arthur was born in 1976.¹ She is the daughter of Sir Stephen John Arthur, 6th Bt. and Carolyn Margaret Diamond.¹

     Sir Basil Malcolm Arthur, 5th Bt. was born on 18 September 1928.¹ He was the son of Sir George Malcolm Arthur, 4th Bt. and Doris Fay Wooding.^1,2 He married, firstly, Elizabeth Rita Wells, daughter of Alan Mervyn Wells, on 2 January 1950.² He married, secondly, Sandra Colleen Boaz, daughter of William Boaz, in 1983.² He died in 1985.¹
     He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Arthur, of Upper Canada [U.K., 1841] on 27 July 1949.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) [New Zealand] in 1962, for Timaru.²

     Sir George Malcolm Arthur, 4th Bt. was born on 26 March 1908.¹ He was the son of Edward Malcolm Arthur and Evelyn Kerr.¹ He married Doris Fay Wooding, daughter of Joseph Wooding, on 24 March 1928.² He died on 27 July 1949 at age 41.¹
     He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Arthur, of Upper Canada [U.K., 1841] on 14 January 1946.¹

     Edward Malcolm Arthur was born in 1874.¹ He was the son of George Arthur Arthur and Helen Thomson.¹ He married Evelyn Kerr, daughter of Edward George Kerr, in 1906.¹ He died on 4 June 1928.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 4th Battalion, South Wales Borderers.¹
