     Major William Affleck King was born in 1830.² He was the son of Vice-Admiral Sir Richard King, 2nd Bt. and Maria Susanna Cotton.² He married Charlotte Webster, daughter of A. C. Webster, on 13 October 1873.² He died on 24 August 1886.²
     He gained the rank of Major in the 17th Regiment.¹

     Lt.-Col. Charles Hugh Antrobus was born on 18 April 1916.¹ He was the son of Reverend Jocelyn James Antrobus and Justine Mary Louisa King.¹ He married Pamela Spencer, daughter of Lt.-Col. Huntly Gordon Spencer, on 7 July 1945.¹ He died on 3 January 1988 at age 71 at Devizes, Wiltshire, England.²
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He graduated from Magdalene College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He fought in the Second World War between 1939 and 1945, where he was mentioned in despatches.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Royal Artillery.¹ He lived at Wootton House, Wootton, Wiltshire, England^G.¹

     Pamela Spencer is the daughter of Lt.-Col. Huntly Gordon Spencer.¹ She married Lt.-Col. Charles Hugh Antrobus, son of Reverend Jocelyn James Antrobus and Justine Mary Louisa King, on 7 July 1945.¹
     From 7 July 1945, her married name became Antrobus.¹

     Lt.-Col. Huntly Gordon Spencer held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)¹ He lived at South Hill House, Cranmore, Shepton Mallet, Somerset, England^G.¹ He was awarded the Territorial Decoration (T.D.)¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹

     Mary Elizabeth Antrobus was born on 6 June 1918.¹ She was the daughter of Reverend Jocelyn James Antrobus and Justine Mary Louisa King.¹ She died in March 2002 at age 83, unmarried.¹

     Captain Cecil Hugh Antrobus was born on 25 September 1877.¹ He was the son of John Coutts Antrobus and Mary Egidia Lindsay.¹ He died on 25 September 1915 at age 38 at France^G, killed in action.¹
     He fought in the Boer War in 1900.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the 6th Battalion, Cameron Highlanders.¹ He fought in the First World War between 1914 and 1915.¹

     Walter Guy Antrobus was born on 27 March 1879.¹ He was the son of John Coutts Antrobus and Mary Egidia Lindsay.¹ He married Kathleen Frances Broadwood, daughter of Brig.-Gen. Arthur Broadwood and Mary Frances Meade, on 19 December 1907.¹ He died on 19 April 1963 at age 84.¹
     He was educated at Charterhouse School, Godalming, Surrey, England^G.¹ He fought in the Boer War between 1901 and 1902, with Marshall’s Horse.¹

     Kathleen Frances Broadwood was born circa 1877 at Westminster, London, England^G.^2,3 She is the daughter of Brig.-Gen. Arthur Broadwood and Mary Frances Meade.^1,3 She married Walter Guy Antrobus, son of John Coutts Antrobus and Mary Egidia Lindsay, on 19 December 1907.¹
     She lived in 1881 at St Georges Hanover, London, England^G.^2,3 From 19 December 1907, her married name became Antrobus.¹

     Robert Michael Antrobus was born on 7 April 1910.¹ He was the son of Walter Guy Antrobus and Kathleen Frances Broadwood.¹ He married, firstly, Janet Lyle Holmes Mackay, daughter of Neil Mackay, on 26 November 1938.¹ He and Janet Lyle Holmes Mackay were divorced in 1948.¹ He married, secondly, Peggy Graham, daughter of Douglas Graham, on 3 October 1959.¹ He died on 2 October 1961 at age 51.¹
     He was registered as a Insitute of Land Surveyors of Transvaal.¹ He was Government Land Surveyor with South African Railways.¹ He fought in the Second World War between 1940 and 1945, in the South African Engineers Corps, where he was invalided.¹

     Janet Lyle Holmes Mackay is the daughter of Neil Mackay.¹ She married Robert Michael Antrobus, son of Walter Guy Antrobus and Kathleen Frances Broadwood, on 26 November 1938.¹ She and Robert Michael Antrobus were divorced in 1948.¹
     From 26 November 1938, her married name became Antrobus.¹
