     Dorothy Aird was the daughter of Sir John Aird, 1st Bt. and Sarah Smith.¹ She married Spryridion Mavrojani, son of Alexander Mavrojani, on 8 June 1899.¹ She died on 2 January 1931.¹
     From 8 June 1899, her married name became Mavrojani.¹

     Spryridion Mavrojani was the son of Alexander Mavrojani.² He married Dorothy Aird, daughter of Sir John Aird, 1st Bt. and Sarah Smith, on 8 June 1899.¹ He died on 1 March 1930.²
     He graduated with a Bachelor of Civil Law (B.C.L.)¹ He was a barrister.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹ He graduated with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the 5th Royal Fusiliers.²

     Joseph Maurice Aird was born on 3 November 1904.¹ He was the son of Major Sir John Aird, 2nd Bt. and Alicia Ellen Renton.¹ He married, firstly, Gwenyth Sheila Dartrey, daughter of Richard Dartrey, on 11 July 1934.¹ He and Gwenyth Sheila Dartrey were divorced in 1958.¹ He married, secondly, Betty Louise Colson, daughter of John Ralph Colson, on 16 October 1958.¹ He died on 26 June 1973 at age 68.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He graduated from Magdalen College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, in 1926 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He gained the rank of Temporary Captain in the Royal Berkshire Regiment.¹

     Gwenyth Sheila Dartrey is the daughter of Richard Dartrey.¹ She married, firstly, Vincent Dominguez before 1934.¹ She married, secondly, Joseph Maurice Aird, son of Major Sir John Aird, 2nd Bt. and Alicia Ellen Renton, on 11 July 1934.¹ She and Joseph Maurice Aird were divorced in 1958.¹
     From before 1934, her married name became Dominguez.¹ From 11 July 1934, her married name became Aird.¹

     Vincent Dominguez married Gwenyth Sheila Dartrey, daughter of Richard Dartrey, before 1934.¹

     Betty Louise Colson is the daughter of John Ralph Colson.¹ She married, firstly, Major Marcus Vincent before 1958.¹ She married, secondly, Joseph Maurice Aird, son of Major Sir John Aird, 2nd Bt. and Alicia Ellen Renton, on 16 October 1958.¹
