     Sir Charles Adams, 4th Bt. was born circa 1665 at Isleham, Cambridgeshire, England^G.¹ He was the son of Sir William Adams, 2nd Bt. and Anne Rushout.¹ He married Frances Rolle, daughter of Sir Francis Rolle and Priscilla Foote, on 10 June 1693 at St. James’s, Westminster, London, England^G.¹ He died on 12 August 1726, without issue.¹ He was buried at Ealing, London, England^G.¹ His will (dated 12 August 1726) was proven (by probate) on 14 July 1729.¹
     He was educated at Norwich School, Norwich, Norfolk, England^G.¹ He matriculated at Gonville and Caius College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, in 1683.¹ He graduated from Gonville and Caius College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, in 1686/87 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He graduated from Gonville and Caius College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, in 1690 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Adams, of Sprowston Hall, Norfolk [E., 1660] in August 1690.¹ He held the office of Sheriff of Norfolk from 1693 to 1694.¹

     Jane Adams is the daughter of William Adams and Mary Maynard.¹ She married Sir Erasmus Norwich, 3rd Bt., son of Sir Roger Norwich, 2nd Bt. and Catherine Fermor.²

     Frances Rolle was born circa 1675.¹ She was the daughter of Sir Francis Rolle and Priscilla Foote.¹ She married Sir Charles Adams, 4th Bt., son of Sir William Adams, 2nd Bt. and Anne Rushout, on 10 June 1693 at St. James’s, Westminster, London, England^G.¹ She died before 1724.¹
     From 10 June 1693, her married name became Adams.¹

     Sir Francis Rolle married Priscilla Foote, daughter of Sir Thomas Foote, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Mott, on 23 January 1654/55 at St. Mary Woolnoth Haw, London, England.²
     He lived at Shapwick, Somerset, England^G.¹

     Priscilla Foote is the daughter of Sir Thomas Foote, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Mott.¹ She married Sir Francis Rolle on 23 January 1654/55 at St. Mary Woolnoth Haw, London, England.²
     From 23 January 1654/55, her married name became Rolle.

     Sir Thomas Foote, 1st Bt. was born circa 1593. He married Elizabeth Mott, daughter of William Mott, on 16 December 1625.^2,3 He died on 12 October 1688.³
     He held the office of Lord Mayor of London from 1649 to 1650.⁴ He was created 1st Baronet Foote in 1660.¹

     Sir Robert Adams, 5th Bt. was born after 1665.¹ He was the son of Sir William Adams, 2nd Bt. and Anne Rushout.¹ He married, firstly, Dorothea Wiseman, daughter of Piercy Wiseman and unknown Claggett.¹ He married, secondly, Diana (?) before 1741.¹ He died circa 1754.¹
     He was a clerk to an attorney in 1699 at London, England^G.¹ He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Adams, of Sprowston Hall, Norfolk [E., 1660] on 12 August 1726.¹

     Dorothea Wiseman was the daughter of Piercy Wiseman and unknown Claggett.¹ She married Sir Robert Adams, 5th Bt., son of Sir William Adams, 2nd Bt. and Anne Rushout.¹ She died in February 1725/26, without issue.¹
     Her married name became Adams.¹
