     Charles Alexander Somerset was born on 21 August 1901.¹ He was the son of Henry Charles FitzRoy Somerset and Isabella Goodsir Mowat.¹ He married, firstly, Audrey Vernon Thompson, daughter of George W. L. Thompson, on 15 June 1926.¹ He married, secondly, Winifred May Helyar, daughter of Joseph Arthur Helyar and Emily Louise Perry, on 22 January 1955.¹ He died in 1981.¹
     He was educated at Radley College, Abingdon, Oxfordshire, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Artillery.¹ He lived at Malt House Barn, Kingsley, Hampshire, England^G.¹

     Audrey Vernon Thompson was the daughter of George W. L. Thompson.¹ She married Charles Alexander Somerset, son of Henry Charles FitzRoy Somerset and Isabella Goodsir Mowat, on 15 June 1926.¹ She died on 21 July 1935.¹
     From 15 June 1926, her married name became Somerset.¹

     George W. L. Thompson lived at Olton, Warwickshire, England^G.¹

     Winifred May Helyar was born in 1902.² She was the daughter of Joseph Arthur Helyar and Emily Louise Perry.¹ She married Charles Alexander Somerset, son of Henry Charles FitzRoy Somerset and Isabella Goodsir Mowat, on 22 January 1955.¹ She died in 1996.¹
     From 22 January 1955, her married name became Somerset.¹

     Audrey Barbara Somerset was born on 18 March 1929.¹ She was the daughter of Charles Alexander Somerset and Audrey Vernon Thompson.¹ She married Jeremy Paul Ellingham on 2 October 1954.¹ She and Jeremy Paul Ellingham were divorced in 1960.¹ She died on 10 November 2008 at age 79.²
     Audrey Barbara Somerset usually went by her middle name of Barbara.¹ From 2 October 1954, her married name became Ellingham.¹ She lived in 1999 at The Old Granary, Stoneputts Manor, Seal, Kent, England^G.¹

     Jeremy Paul Ellingham married Audrey Barbara Somerset, daughter of Charles Alexander Somerset and Audrey Vernon Thompson, on 2 October 1954.¹ He and Audrey Barbara Somerset were divorced in 1960.¹

     Hugh Vere Alexander Ellingham was born on 17 October 1957.¹ He is the son of Jeremy Paul Ellingham and Audrey Barbara Somerset.¹ He married Angela Jackson, daughter of T. A. Jackson, in 1979.¹
