     Henry Charles FitzRoy Somerset was born on 23 August 1860.¹ He was the son of Colonel Poulett George Henry Somerset and Barbara Augusta Norah Mytton.¹ He married, firstly, Amy Cox, daughter of Henry Cox, in 1889.¹ He married, secondly, Barbara Salter on 17 April 1894.¹ He married, thirdly, Isabella Goodsir Mowat on 22 July 1897.¹ He died on 28 July 1925 at age 64.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 3rd Battalion, Shropshire Light Infantry.¹
